Who do you believe in?

Here is the testimony of a Chinese Christian: “I walked through the road of life and had fallen into a great ditch. The ditch was filled with depression, discouragement, and sin. As I lay in that ditch, Mohammed came along and said, ‘It’s your fault you’re in the ditch. You offended Allah, and this is your just punishment.’ Then Marx came by and said, ‘You’re in the ditch because of class warfare. You must revolt.’ But after the government changed, I was still in my ditch. Then Buddha came along and said, ‘You’re not really in that ditch. You just think you’re there. It’s all an illusion of the mind. Be at peace.’ Then Confucius came by and said, ‘Here are the 10 steps of self-attainment by which you can get out of your ditch. Who is saved

In my Bible reading, Jesus has been talking about saving gentiles and others outside of the Jews. . .and then today I read Matthew 15:24 “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” I know He eventually sends them to share the word to all nations but reading earlier in Matthew I had the feeling he was spending His time on earth helping believers.

Who Do You Choose Your Actions For?

A gentle feelin’ can make it right or make it wrong What does it take to be a man?   The will to give and not receive The strength to say what you believe The heart to feel what others feel inside To see what they can see   A man is somethin’ that’s real...

Are you putting your kids first? Should you?

Your kids should not be the most important in the family from Naples Daily News, January 1, 2017 by John Rosemond I recently asked a married couple who have three kids, none of whom are yet teens, “Who are the most important people in your family?” Like all good moms and dads of this brave new millennium, they answered, “Our kids!” “Why?” I then asked. “What is it about your kids that gives them that status?” And like all good moms and dads of this brave new millennium, they couldn’t answer the question other than to fumble with appeals to emotion. So, I answered the question for them: “There is no reasonable thing that gives your children that status.” I went on to point out that many if not most of the problems they’re having with their kids—typical stuff,...
